REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent with atleast 5 years’ involvement with patient affairs. Diploma or Degree in Administration with 3 years’ involvement in patient affairs and willing to work shifts. Sound information on Office Administration Management with accentuation on PFMA, BCEA, Records Management, National Core Standards, Mortuary standard operational manual, top to bottom information on Legislative Prescripts, Computer Literacy MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). DUTIES: Supervise and guarantee De-Registration and charging of mortuary patients from the PAAB System. Guarantee Maintaining of all records applicable to Mortuary. Guarantee mortuary register is manually kept up to date and enhance electronic record keeping. Follow up and review every obscure patient. Track and Trace bodies from entry to exit. Recover all significant patient documents for precise record keeping. “Submit every day electronic report to applicable expert for Covid-19 insights.” Guarantee mortuary Certificate of Compliance is accomplished and reestablish it when required. Address all enquiries pertinent to Occupational Health and Safety issues. Address all morgue related questions from internal and external parties. Report malfunctioning of fridges. Guarantee security of the region. Guarantee tidiness of morgue region and plates. Administer and manage staff participation. Assess staff and assess execution. Discipline when necessary in accordance with Acts, Policy and Standards. Guarantee adherence to the six quality priorities. Oversee right patient reclassification. Update all obscure patient in the ward. Request important stock and stationary for keeping up the morgue.
