The Employment Equity Consultant will be required to Support the Group EE Manager on the Execution of the EE Strategy for FirstRand
experience and qualifications
Minimum Qualification – Degree or Diploma in HR Preferred Qualification – Degree or Diploma in HR Experience – 3-4 years’ experience working with Employment Equity or HR in a large organisation
It is inherent to the role that the incumbent is honest in dealing with cash and financial transactions. As such, it is a pre-requisite for candidates to undergo consumer credit record checks to enable the Employer to ascertain whether the candidate’s credit record is acceptable.
Support the Group EE Manager with delivery of the EE Strategic objectives Completion and submission of reports to the Department of Labour Aligning the needs of the Institution Training of employees on Employment Equity issues including providing technical guidance and support to HCBP within respective area of Expertise to facilitate line management engagement and support for staff To actively monitor existing policies, practices procedure within the area of expertise and make recommendations for continuous improvements Drive activities associated with EE (training on EE, roadshows, communication) Facilitate unconscious bias workshops and awareness sessions Analysis, reporting and planning (monitor and track the EE statistics nationally) Communicate and create awareness of all EE issues Manage and update the EE tools including but not limited to reports, EE training material, project plans etc Undertake an analysis of the workforce profile Support the Group EE Manager with the consultation process and consultative forums.
